Rug Cleaning
The 12-step cold-water hand wash for Persian, Oriental, silk, wool and modern rugs.
Rug Repair
Ten repair services — reweaving, fringe, color re-dye, moth damage, full restoration.
Rug Protection
Scotchgard and wool-safe fiber seal applied after the wash. Spills bead instead of soak.
Rug Appraisal
Free in-shop verbal; written, signed valuations for insurance, probate, estate planning.
Rug Storage
Climate-controlled vault at 65°F / 45%. Wrapped, tagged, inspected every 30 days.
Pet Stain Removal
Enzymatic deep extraction for urine, vomit, blood. Safe for wool, silk, antique rugs.
Pet Odor Removal
Enzyme plus ozone chamber. Guaranteed odor-free on return or we re-treat free.
Moth Repellent
Cedar-lavender preventative or IGR active eradication. 12-month warranty either way.
Custom Rug Pads
Felt-and-rubber or memory foam cut to your rug’s exact dimensions. Floor-safe.
Rug Treatments

We handle every stage.
The rug that arrives new needs a pad cut to size and fiber protection. A year later, a cleaning. Three years in, a dining-room accident — pet stain removal. Ten years, moth damage repair, or a move-induced storage stay. Every phase of that rug’s life, we have seen before, and we handle on the same bench.
This matters because when services live in different shops, information is lost. The colour-match from a reweaving job done in Oakland doesn’t transfer to the cleaning in San Francisco, because they’re not the same rug in the same memory. Our tag stays with the rug, so does the craftsman’s note — and it is all still our responsibility.
How we work

1. Free pickup
We come to you. San Francisco, Peninsula, East Bay, South Bay. No charge to pick up or deliver.
2. Written estimate
Every rug inspected on the bench. You get a typed, itemized estimate before a drop of water touches the rug.
3. Hand work only
No machines, no steam. Every service is bench work, by craftsmen, one rug at a time.
4. Delivered home
Wrapped and driven back. Placed in the room, rolled into position. We do not leave until you approve.
