Not every rug
needs the same chemistry.
A clean rug is the baseline. But many rugs benefit from an add-on treatment paired with the wash — fiber seal to repel future spills, enzyme to kill pet odors at the foundation, moth repellent for rugs going into storage, a custom pad to save the pile. Rather than a generic “deep clean” upcharge, we offer each treatment as its own transparent line item.

Enzymatic deep extraction for urine, vomit, blood. Combined with full immersion.

Enzyme plus ozone chamber. Guaranteed odor-free on delivery.
Moth repellent
Preventative or active eradication. Cedar, lavender and IGR. 12-month warranty.
Custom rug pad
Felt-and-rubber or memory foam cut to your rug’s exact dimensions. Floor-safe.

Hospital-grade sanitize add-on for rugs from daycare, medical or rental turnovers.

Choosing the right treatment

Preventative moth treatment is essential for anything stored more than 3 months. Ask for the storage-bundled rate.

Add rug protection. Fiber seal buys you the 5-second grace period to blot before a stain sets.

Order a custom pad same day as cleaning. Extends the life of both the rug and the floor.

Treatments FAQ
Common questions about add-ons.
Do I have to get a treatment if I just want a clean rug?
Absolutely not. Cleaning alone is always an option. Treatments are optional add-ons for specific needs. We never push them on a rug that doesn’t need one.
Can I add a treatment after cleaning?
Protection and moth treatment must be applied in the shop; we cannot come to your home to apply them after delivery. If you’re unsure, call us before the rug leaves our bench.
Are all the chemistries safe for wool and silk?
Yes — every treatment we offer is wool-safe and silk-safe. We do not apply anything to a natural-fibre rug that we would not apply to our own.
How do bundles work?
Choose treatments on the pickup form or at intake. Discount is calculated automatically. No codes, no phone calls.
Which treatment is most popular?
Rug protection, by a margin of four to one. Pet stain and moth come next. Pads are always popular with new rugs.
Can you do in-home treatment?
Only custom pad measurement. Every other treatment requires the rug on our bench — the chemistry needs controlled dwell time and dry conditions.
