Why rent a rug

A rug makes
the photograph.

A hardwood floor photographs cold. A staged property without a rug looks “between tenants,” not “ready to live in.” One well-chosen rug tells the buyer how the room works, draws the eye to the fireplace or the view, and softens every photograph in the listing.

Buying a staging rug outright is expensive, especially for a property you don’t actually live in. Renting is the answer: you get a well-made, hand-knotted or designer-grade rug for the two to four weeks you need it, then it goes back. The rug shows up clean, placed by our crew, and collected without lifting a finger.

Same for photo shoots, weddings, pop-up retail, and trade shows. A borrowed look, rented honestly.

How rental works

  1. Tell us the space

    Send dimensions, a photo of the room, and the look you’re going for. Stager, photographer, event planner — tell us the end use.

  2. We propose options

    Within 24 hours we send 3 to 5 rug proposals with photos, pricing and availability for your dates. You pick the one.

  3. Delivery & placement

    Our crew delivers and places the rug the day before your shoot, staging, or event. No need for you to lift it.

  4. Collection

    We come back at the end of the rental period and pick it up. Any light soil is included; damage billed against the deposit.

Rental FAQ

Before you reserve.

How far in advance should I reserve?

Two weeks for common 8×10 and 9×12 sizes; four weeks for statement Persians or during spring staging season. Last-minute rentals sometimes possible — call us.

What if the rug gets stained at an event?

Light stains are included in the rental — we expect the occasional wine spill. Major damage is charged against the security deposit at repair cost, never retail replacement. We are reasonable.

Can I buy the rug if I fall in love with it?

Yes. Many of our rental rugs are for sale as well; we will apply 50% of the rental paid against the purchase price.

Do you offer staging-agency pricing?

Yes. For stagers who rent five or more rugs at a time, we offer tiered discounts and a net-30 account. Call us to set it up.

Is there a minimum rental period?

One week. Three-day event pricing available on request but typically at the one-week rate.

Who places the rug on site?

Our crew of two delivers and places. You or your stager direct the placement. If furniture is already in the room we ask that it be movable — we do not lift sectionals or pianos.
