How much does rug cleaning cost?
Hand-washed rug cleaning is priced per square foot, and the rate depends on fibre and condition. Wool starts at one bracket; silk and antique pieces sit higher because of single-tub handling and 72-hour sealed drying. Send a photo and your rug type and we’ll send a written estimate within 24 hours — no obligation.
How long does cleaning take?
Most rugs are back to you in seven to ten business days, door-to-door. Silk and antique pieces require seventy-two hours of sealed flat drying alone, which adds a few days. Pickup days fill up — book your slot to lock in the soonest window.
What rugs do you clean?
Persian (Sarouk, Tabriz, Kashan, Heriz, Nain), Oriental (Turkish, Chinese, Caucasian), silk (Qum, Hereke), wool, antique, Navajo, sheepskin, cowhide, shag, sisal, jute and synthetics. Every fibre gets its own protocol — no factory wash, no shared tank for silk.
Do you guarantee no shrinkage or bleed?
Yes. We pre-test every colour for fugitivity before water touches the rug. Cold-water immersion (under 60°F) and flat sealed drying eliminate the heat and tension that cause shrinkage. Bleed-free and shrinkage-free on every rug we’ve hand-washed in forty-seven years.
